Corrective Care

Corrective chiropractic care is a different approach to resolving pain than relief chiropractic care. When undergoing corrective chiropractic care, we will evaluate, not just your spine, but also your nervous system and how well it is functioning. This kind of chiropractic care will help a person attain and sustain optimal health.

The nervous system is responsible for sending messages from the brain to all the joints, tissues, organs and glands in the body. This is why we are constantly reiterating the need for the nervous system to function as close to 100% as possible for each patient. For these messages to reach the body from the brain, they travel through the spine to the body. This is why it is so important for your spine to be in its correct alignment. Receiving corrective care will also help strengthen the immune system because there will be no interferences blocking the nerve flow from the brain to the rest of the body; therefore, allowing the nervous system to function at it’s very best.

Chiropractic care is a low-risk, conservative choice that has been proven to help people with many different types of pain related issues. We practice corrective chiropractic care because it will help our patients build a healthy body and stronger immune system. We strongly encourage our patients to take advantage of our corrective care services because with routine chiropractic care you won’t have to rely on medication to manage illness.

Searching For The Root Of The Problem

Corrective care focuses on correcting the underlying structural irregularities to treat the cause and not just the symptom and make a more permanent change to keep your body functioning properly. Chiropractic care doctors won’t just give you an adjustment because you are in pain; instead, we will search for the root problem and create a care plan that is unique to you, in order to correct the issue so that it won’t keep coming back. This care plan will be developed according to each patient’s examination that we perform at the first appointment. The care plan will be based on:

  • Severity of the problem
  • Any misalignments of the spine
  • Length of time they have been dealing with this issue
  • If there is any degeneration or arthritis in the spine
  • If there is any disc damage or herniated discs
  • Any other symptoms the patient is experiencing with their body

Here at Acru Health Precision Chiropractic, we design our care plans to help you reach YOUR desired health goals. We want all of our patients to function at their very best, increase their quality of life and improve their overall health. We design our care plans to not just relieve your pain temporarily, but permanently correct the problem so you can get back to living your life.

The type of adjustment technique we use is called Torque Release. Torque release is the most specific way to make changes within an individual’s nervous system. It is gentle and low force technology. Torque release actually moves faster than the human hand. So, this allows you to get the same adjustment you would manually, but it’s much more precise and we don’t have to move a bunch of things around to get the desired results we want.

By undergoing corrective care from Dr. Rafael Ramon and Dr. Chris Norton, your nervous system will begin to function better, which will, ultimately, allow your body to start functioning much better overall.
